XAT 2027: dates, pattern and eligibility

Marking: Part 1: +1 for a correct answer, −0.25 for a wrong answer, and −0.10 for each unanswered question beyond 8. GK has no negative marking and is usually not used for the percentile.
Eligibility
A recognised bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline. Final-year students can apply. No minimum percentage is set for the exam.

XLRI Jamshedpur and Delhi, XIM Bhubaneswar, IMT, Great Lakes, TAPMI, KJ Somaiya and 250+ other B-schools.
How to apply
- Register on xatonline.in and verify your email and mobile number.
- Fill in academic details, choose test cities and select XLRI programmes if you want them.
- Pay the fee online (₹2,300 plus ₹200 per XLRI programme).
- Download the admit card in December and practise Decision Making sets, which are unique to XAT.

Does XAT GK count?
GK is usually not used for the percentile, but XLRI may use it in later selection stages.
