MAT December 2026 has two modes: the paper-based test on 20 December (register by 14 December) and the computer-based test on 27 December (register by 21 December).

600+ AICTE-approved institutes, many of them private B-schools and university departments.
How to apply
- Register on mat.aima.in and choose paper-based, computer-based or both.
- Pay the fee for each mode you choose.
- Download the admit card a few days before your test.
- Send your score to colleges that accept MAT.

Can I take both the paper and computer MAT?
Yes. You register and pay for each mode separately.
How many questions are in MAT?
150 questions in 120 minutes across five sections.
Is MAT easier than CAT?
MAT is shorter per question and less demanding than CAT, but it is accepted mainly by private colleges, not the IIMs.
